Del.icio.us

Well, I've dinked around the Del.icio.us site, even created an account so I can experience the ease of use but I don't think that it will replace "My Favorites". While I am sure it is of great use to many, I found it time consuming and troublesome. I guess I am still a lover of the KISS principle and don't like the extra steps it takes to tag. I do, however, appreciate that others have taken the time to do this and can see the value in using it as a research tool so I have bookmarked it into my "searching" folder in "My Favorites" for future use.

It took me a long time to get into the swing of delicious. It finally made sense to me when I realized I needed to organize all my 2.0 sites into categories for easy access. In my favorites I had too many folders and couldn't find things any more! Now when I come across a website I want to look at later, I use the delicious button on my browser and I am surprised I use it so much!

It's also really useful for those of us who travel a lot for our jobs and don't always have access to our bookmarks folders. With delicious, I can find that wonderfully useful site whether I'm in Billings, Colstrip or Winifred.
